ANAL TOYS

Anal toys are sex toys designed specially for those who get exquisite pleasure from stimulation of very sensitive nerve endings. The anus is a very erogenous zone. Anal toys are intended for everyone. These come in various styles the most popular being butt plugs and anal beads. They are specially designed to prevent them being ’sucked up’ into the back passage.

CLIT

Short for Clitoris, small bud-shaped organ of the female genital anatomy, above the urethra (urinary opening) and vagina. It is the focal point of sexual pleasure leading to orgasms. It is the only organ in the human body whose sole function is to give sexual pleasure.

CONDOMS

Condoms are male contraceptive devices. Most people don’t realise that condoms are classified as medical devices. Most condoms are made of latex or polyurethane. A condom is a device most commonly used during sexual intercourse. Condoms are used to prevent pregnancy and transmission of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs-such as gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV).

DILDOS / DONGS

A dildo can be any object for insertion into the vagina or anus.

Both heterosexual and homo-sexual men and women can use dildos for personal penetration or shared pleasure with their partners. They can be made of plastic, silicone, latex, even metal and glass.

EGGS & BULLETS

A type of mini vibrator, often with a separate battery pack. These are generally a small egg or bullet shape which vibrates. Some are quite intense for their size and can be placed between couples as they make love without being intrusive. Whilst used externally, some can be inserted internally if waterproof.

G-SPOT

Is a female erogenous zone which when stimulated leads to high levels of sexual arousal and powerful orgasms.

LUBRICANTS

Commonly called lubes. Any solution that helps increase motion and cut down on friction can be considered a lube. The most common are silicone or water-based.

MASTURBATORS

Usually tube shaped toys designed for men to insert their penis into to obtain an orgasm through different feelings. Many are realistically styled to imitate the entrance to the vagina, anus or mouth for visual as well as physical stimulation. Many even feature a vibrating egg, which provides added stimulation.

PENIS/COCK RINGS

Cock Rings restrict the flow of blood in the penis. By placing a cock ring at the base of the penis right behind the scrotum both erection and ejaculation can be controlled. They come in different sizes, materials and some have a vibrating bullet to add stimulation. Cockrings should be used with care and always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations.

PHALLIC

The word phallus can refer to an erect penis, or to an object shaped like a penis.

MICRO

Small, but usually powerful for its size.

VIBRATORS

Often phallic in shape, but also available in other designs; such as curves to ‘hit the G-Spot’. They have one or more motors which have rotating weights, causing them to vibrate. They vary in materials and size from discreet lipstick size to many inches in length.

DELUXE VIBRATORS

The ‘Rabbit’ style is quite popular. The difference is that a rabbit type vibrator has an extra ‘limb’ that is designed to stimulate the clitoris, whilst the main shaft is inserted into the vagina. These generally have a rotating shaft and have multi-speed clitoral vibrations. For the ultimate, there are three-way styles, which stimulate the clitoris, the vagina as well as an anal probe.

CYBERSKIN

With the creation of Cyberskin it is now possible to make products with Virtual Touch, that is, with an extremely realistic feel like that of the human body. If you close your eyes and touch the material, you can’t tell the difference between Cyberskin and the human body. Cyberskin may be referred to as UR3 Ultra-Realistic, Futurotic Material, Jel-Lee.

JELLY

These toys are usually soft, flexible and colourful. They tend to have a soft, smooth, supple feel.

LATEX

A material commonly used in the manufacture of sex toys. The feel of latex is somewhere between plastic and jelly. Latex is porous and should be cleaned thoroughly with an antibacterial soap and water and not shared with other people. Water and silicone-based lubricants can be used with Latex toys, oil-based lubricants and petroleum jelly should not be used with latex as these may adversely affect the toy.

SILICONE

A quality material used to make high-end sex toys. Silicone is soft and lifelike, warms up quickly to body temperature. It is non-porous, therefore easy to clean with mild soap and water, or boiled for sterilization.
